National cricket team wins first practice match against Free Foresters
Nepali cricket team beat Free Foresters Cricket club by 129 runs in their first practice match played at Indian Gymkhana, Osterleyon on Wednesday.
Free Foresters won the toss and choose to field, while Nepal batted first and make 235-run target for the foresters club in 40 overs at the loss of nine wickets.

Opener Anil Mandal (4) was dismissed early but Malla and Vesawkar then added a 110 runs partnership for second wicket.
Skipper Paras Khadka joined Malla at the crease with 20 overs left. As their partnership was looking dangerous, Gyanendra Malla fell for 73 runs including 9 fours.
Paras Khadka and Sagar Pun added 40 runs and 21 runs respectively to take the score to 235/9 in 40 overs.
Chasing 236 runs, Bikram Sob fearless fast bowling destroyed the Free Foresters inning inside 29.1 overs with 106 runs.
He grabbed 4 wickets in 8 overs giving away 21 runs. Sandeep Lamichhane took 3 wickets in his 5.1 overs. Likewise, Karan KC and Shakti Gauchan shared two wickets each.
For Nepali team, Vice-Captain Gyanendra Malla make 74 runs while Sharad Bheshwakar 50. Similarly, Rajesh Pulami scored 11 runs.
Raju Rijal and Sompal Kami contributed eight runs each not out. Likewise, Binod Bhandari made seven runs.
