Ajax sign Bertrand Traore from Chelsea on a season-long loan
Chelsea have allowed Bertrand Traore to join Ajax on loan after the young forward told the club he needed a season of regular first-team football.
The Burkina Faso international, who made his Premier League debut last December, scored four goals in 16 games in all-competitions for the west London outfit last season.
He arrives in Amsterdam after Polish international striker Arek Milik completed his move to Napoli for £30m at the start of the month.
Traore will be reunited with coach Peter Bosz under whom he played at Vitesse Arnhem from 2013-15 on loan from Chelsea. He scored 16 goals in 14 Dutch league appearances at Vitesse.
