Zlatan Ibrahimovic to retire from international football after Euro 2016

Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced he will retire from international football after Euro 2016.

The Swedish striker has won 115 caps for his country, scoring 62 goals.

He has played in both of their games in France this summer and could bid farewell after Wednesday’s clash with Belgium.

“The last game (at Euro 2016) will be my last for Sweden , so I hope it will not be tomorrow,” he said.

“I am very proud of what I have achieved and will always bring the Swedish flag with me.”

Manchester United have been strongly linked with the 34-year-old, who became a free agent after leaving Paris St-Germain this summer.
