Sheffield Wednesday have signed former AC Milan and Fulham utility man Urby Emanuelson on a permanent deal.
Emanuelson, who is adept at playing multiple roles down the left side of the pitch or centrally, has joined the club ahead of Wednesday’s Championship clash with Wigan on Saturday.

Originally an academy player at Ajax, Emanuelson spent 17 years in total with the Eredivisie side where he made 117 professional appearances, before moving to AC Milan in 2011.
In January 2013, he was loaned to Fulham in the Premier League where he made 13 appearances up until the end of the season, his debut came against Manchester United.
Emanuelson then joined Roma before a loan stint at Atalanta and a half season at Verona.
The 30-year-old will wear the number 26 shirt for the Owls.
