Pogba prepares to fly to England to complete Man Utd transfer

Paul Pogba is poised to complete a transfer worth around £100million to United and become new boss Jose Mourinho’s fourth summer signing.
The France international has spent the last two weeks on holiday in the United States after helping his country to the final of Euro 2016, where they lost to Portugal.
Paul Pogba is edging closer to completing his transfer to Manchester United, with the Juventus midfielder reported to be preparing to travel to England to put pen to paper on his world record move.
Sky Sports report the 23-year-old partied at the Wet Republic pool party at MGM Grand in Sin City on Saturday with thousands of others where superstar DJ Calvin Harris headlined.
When asked about his pending move to United, Pogba simply said: “We’ll see”.
Sky Sports add sources close to the deal have revealed the move is nearing completion and is expected to be finalised before the Premier League season starts on Saturday August 13.

The Juventus star made light of the speculation around his future over the weekend, when he uploaded two pictures at Universal Studios in Calfiornia.
One read: “breaking news: Pogba undergoes medical check in Universal Studios amusement park California #Imonholidays #nimportequoi”.
The other said: “news: we catch Pogba with his contract in Universal Studios LA amusement park #Imonholidays #nonsense”.
Pogba was apparently joined in Vegas by France and Juventus team-mate Patrice Evra – formerly of United – while his agent Mino Raiola worked on his transfer.
The pair were said to be accompanied by friends and other partygoers at the their luxury cabana at the pool party – which costs over £7,500 ($10,000) a day.
United and Juventus are reported to have agreed a deal in principle for Pogba’s transfer, with personal terms between the player and Red Devils also close to being finalised.
However, there is still no agreement on who will pay agent Mino Raiola’s fees, with negotiations set to continue this week.
Pogba was due to return to Miami after his weekend in Las Vegas but it is not known whether he will then travel to Turin or straight to Manchester on his departure from the US.
‘Big statement of intent’
Pogba is one of the most coveted young players in Europe and has consistently impressed with his dominant performances in midfield for Juventus and the France national team.
He spent three years in the youth team at United between 2009 and 2012, before leaving Old Trafford to join Juventus as a free agent.
The biggest ever transfer fee paid by a club is the £85m Real Madrid offered to Tottenham Hotspur for Gareth Bale in 2013.
United captain Wayne Rooney said it would be a “very big statement” if the club managed to sign Pogba.
“I hope he is going to want to return to United and prove he’s a top-class player. If he is excited to play for us, we’ll be excited to have him back,” he told the Daily Mail.
“I’m sure he’ll feel there is unfinished business, and it would be a very big statement by the club if they can make it happen.”
