Patna Pirates Beat Jaipur Pink Panthers to win Pro Kabaddi title
Defending champions Patna Pirates recorded a 37-29 victory over Jaipur Pink Panthers in the Pro Kabaddi League final at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium on Sunday.
Both teams began strongly as they tied 2-2 in the fourth minute. Panthers scored three points with a super raid by Rajesh Narwal to lead 2-6 after five minutes. Pirates then forced a super tackle in the seventh minute as they trailed 5-6. Pardeep Narwal scored a raid and bonus to give Pirates a 7-6 lead. Narwal got another raid point as Pirates led 9-6 after 10 minutes.

Pirates inflicted an all out in the 15th minute to take a five-point lead of 16-11. Panthers’ Jasvir Singh scored four points to help them leveled the game at 16-16 in the 19th minute. Pirates, however, forced a super tackle in final seconds of the first half to take a 19-16 lead at half-time.
In the second half, Pirates forced a super tackle in the 25th minute to take the scores to 21-18. Narwal attained a super 10 in the 29th minute, giving Pirates a lead of 25-19.
Pathers’ Ajay Kumar scored two points in the 32nd minute with to reduce the gap to 27-22. Pirates then forced an all out in the next minute to lead 31-23.
With less than five minutes to go, Pirates increased the lead to 10 points with a score of 33-23. Singh scored his 10th point of the match in 37th minute as Panthers trailed 24-33. Panthers cut the lead to seven points in the 38th minute, but Narwal soon scored a two-point raid to seal the trophy for Pirates with an eight-point win of 37-29.
