Nepal Police School beat Little Angels 4-0 in IGP Cup
Nepal Police School A defeated Little Angels 4-0 in the final of 24th Inter School IGP Running Trophy Football Tournament, 2073 at Sanga Schools ground on Thursday.
Siddhartha Basnet scored the opening goal for Nepal Police School in 3rd minute.
Dev Raj Thapa scored second goal in 26th minute.
Samir Thapa scored in the 32nd and 64th minute respectively.
Chief Guest IGP Upendra Kant Aryal gave away the prizes to the winners.
The winning team received Rs 30000, while runners-up Little Angels got Rs 20000 along with trophies and medals.
Siddhartha Basnet of NPS named best player of the tournament, while Puspan Gautam of NPS named best-goalkepper-of-the-tournament.
Uttam Shahi of Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya and Kenish Dahal of Little Angels School each scored 6 goals (highest goal) in the tournmanet.
Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya, Bhaktapur wins Fair Play Team award.
Schools From Kathmandu,Lalitpur,Bhaktapur and Kavre were taking parts in the event.
