Martin Skrtel Posts An Apology After Calling Jurgen Klopp A D**khead
The 31-year-old attacked the Liverpool manager on social media but now insists the posts were made by a friend who was operating his account.
Martin Skrtel has issued an apology after calling Jurgen Klopp a ‘d**khead’ on Instagram.
A picture of the Liverpool defender alongside his friend was posted on Instagram along with seven hashtags – the final one being Slovak for ‘Klopp is a d**khead’.
Via his official Instagram account, Skrtel replied to the picture with: ‘last hashtag is top’.
His friend replied to Skrtel’s comment with: ‘hope Jurgen won’t see it’, while Skrtel followed up with: ‘Hope he does’.
But the 31-year-old has now issued an apology via Instagram and claims the comments from his official account were written by a friend, and not him.
“I am truly very sorry for the situation and for what was written under my name,” said martin sketel.

“These days, when I am very busy I have asked my close friend to help me manage my social media profiles.
“He got carried away and he did not realise how serious the comments may appear. I would like to stress that the opinion he expressed is not my opinion.”
