Chyasal Youth Club beat Madhyapur Youth Association 2-0
Chyasal Youth Club defeated Madhyapur Youth Association by 2-0 in Martyrs Memorial B Division League football tournament. Sushan Rai opened the scoring for Chyasal in the 32nd minute and skipper Rabin Byanajankar, back after two match suspension doubled the lead with a freekick in the first minute of first half injury time.
Late goals from Tanka Bahadur Singdan helped Shree Kumari register a 2-1 win over Tushal Youth Club 1 to move 2nd in Martyrs Memorial B Division League football tournament at Halchowk Stadium on Saturday.
Tushal went ahead in the first minute of first half injury time through Hisub Thapaliya’s goal but the joy was shortlived as Tanaka Bahadur Singdan leveled the score in the third minute of injury time. Tanka then scored the match winning goal through free-kick late in 90+3 minute to take all three points home. With the goal, Singdan has now scored six goals in the league and tops the goalscoring chart.
In the only match played at ANFA Complex, Pulchowk Sports Club defeated Mahabir Club by 3-1 in Martyrs Memorial B Division League football tournament. Tejendra Pun opened the scoring with a lob in the 12th minute while Kamal Thapa doubled the lead in the 32nd minute. Ganesh Hemran made it 3-0 for Pulchowk in the 39th minute. Suraj Thapa scored the consolation for Mahabir in the 65th minute.
