Chyasal, NRT wins
Chyasal Youth Club defeated Khumaltar Youth Club by 3-0 in the Martyrs Memorial B Division League football tournament at the APF ground in Halchowk, Kathmandu on Tuesday. NRT beat Shree Kumari by 1-0 while Tushal defeated Samajik Youth Club by 4-0.
In the first match of the day played at APF Stadium, Tushal defeated Samajik Youth Club by 4-0. Bhakta Bahadur Thapa Magar scored a brace for the winning team as he opened the scoring in the 4th minute and ensured the win by scoring in the 84th minute. Dinesh henjan and Sujit Gurung scored in the 32nd and 84th minute respectively.
In the second match of the day, Chyasal went top of the league after beating Khumaltar Youth Club by 3-0. Chyasal took the lead in the match after Rajendra Deula turned the ball into his own net in the 4th minute. Binod KC doubled the lead in the 25th minute for Chyasal. Dipendra Ghising ensured the win for Chyasal by scoring in the 73rd minute.
In the only match played at ANFA Complex, NRT beat Shree Kumari by 1-0 to go above the opponents. Pradeep Gurung scored match winning goal in the 54th minute.
After losing the match,Shree Kumari Club officials beat FIFA refree Sudis Pandey, assistant refrees Yunal Malla and Padam Bhujel. The officials seemed furious over the decision made by the assistant refrees.
