Swansea signs Leroy Fer from Queens Park Rangers
Swansea City have completed the signing of Leroy Fer from Queens Park Rangers for an undisclosed fee.
The midfielder who has signed a three-year contract, returns to the Liberty Stadium on a permanent deal following a successful loan spell there last season.
“I’m very happy, from the first minute I felt at home,” he told the club’s official website. “We did very good in the second half of the season.

“If we play like that, we can aim for higher, and that’s what we want. Hopefully some new strong players [will] come in to help us.
“It makes it easier for me as well, if a coach wants you. [Guidolin] was surprised [at my ability], he said.”
Fer was signed by QPR from Norwich in the year the Canaries were first relegated from the Premier League, but QPR were also relegated, prompting last season’s move on loan to Swansea.
After making his Swansea debut as a substitute against Tottenham Hotspur, Fer’s first start came in the 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The 26-year-old ends a two-year spell at QPR, where he scored eight goals in 50 appearances following a switch from Norwich City.
He scored eight times in 50 appearances for QPR, and has represented Holland 11 times.
